I am WAY behind on this meme!

And it was all because I couldn't come up with a good answer for the next question!

Day Eleven- Your favorite Superman quote (only Superman/Clark Kent)

Now there are SO many good quotes from Clark Kent no matter the incarnation (and yes I'm including the Byrnes/Modern Age in this statement).

There's Flirty: (In response to whether or not he had a girlfriend) "Uh, no, I don't, but, uh, if I did, Miss Lane, you'd be the first to know about it." -Superman The Movie

Contemplative: '"I thought I could give you all the gift of the freedom from war, but I was wrong. It's not mine to give. We're still a young planet. There are galaxies out there. Other civilizations for us to meet and to learn from. What a brilliant future we could have. And there will be peace – there will be peace when the people of this world want it so badly that their governments will have no choice but to give it to them. I just wish you could all see the Earth the way that I see it. Because when you really look at it, it's just one world." -Superman IV: The Quest for Peace

Heartfelt: "Will there ever come a time I've served enough? At least they get a chance for happiness! I only ask as much - no more." -Superman II: the Donner Cut

Decisive- "This looks like a job for Superman." Almost every version since the Fleischer shorts

and so on.

Day Twelve- Your favorite Superman Memorabilia

As I don’t have many I guess there’s two that I would consider favorites.  My “clois” PJ top and my Girlfrenzy comic that I mentioned earlier.  i suspect this may change when I receive the first of "The Last family of Krypton" comic next week *is giddy with excitement over it*

Day Thirteen- Your favorite Superman Related Song.

13b) Hm…  Does “You don’t mess around with Jim” by Jim Croce count?  It’s better known for the chorus line of “You don’t Tug on Superman’s Cape.”  My favorite Clois one is hands down “Breathless.”

Teaser for For the Good of the Earth

"General Lane, thank you for coming, President Thomas Anderson said as he shook the man's hand, "How is Mad Dog Lane?"

"As well as can be expected. You know how things get with reporters." They share a laugh at that comment.

"At least she's gotten off of your back with the interviews considering her current topic," the president said referring to Lois's series of interviews with Superman.

"And now it's MY turn to attempt to do the grilling. Let's just say she's a LOT more secretive about Superman that even I am about classified programs. I can't get more out of her than what she writes about him in her articles except that she seems to have a thing for him."

"Well Lois has never wanted the normal life now, has she?"

General Lane contemplated the president's comment and then said lightly, "No, no you're right about that."
